PSB Non-Commissioned Security Officer Level 2 Training Certification

This course does not allow officers to carry weapons while on duty. It does educate the student in the basic laws pertaining to the Security Industry (Sec 1702 Texas Occupation Code and Chp 35 Texas Administrative Code), Use of Force, deescalation of force, duties and responsibilities of a Security Officer. The cost is $65.00.

• Monday-Tuesday Level 2 Class 8am-6pm (The first 1 1/2 days of the "FastTrac" course)
• Level 2 "Only" course 8a.-8pm as scheduled randomly throughout the month. (see training schedule for exact dates)

PSB Commissioned Security Officer Level 3 Training Certification

This course allows security officers to carry weapons while on duty. This training is required for a security officer to carry a Firearm, Pepper Spray, Baton, Taser, or "any other" defensive weapon while on duty. It also educates you on the Use of Force/Lethal Force, Deescalation Force, Powers of Arrests, and more. The Level 3 course is 40 hr class.

Upon your successful completion of this course you will receive Certificates of Training for Level 2 (Non-Commissioned Officer), Level 3 (Commissioned Officer), Basic Handcuffing Techniques, Expandable Baton, and Self Defense Aerosol Spray (OC/Pepper Spray). The cost for this course, not including gun rental and ammo fees, is only $150.00! Handgun rental and ammo is $40.00. Shotgun rental is free, but ammo is $10.00. You MUST pass BOTH the handgun and shotgun qualification to pass the course!!!!!! Shotgun IS NOT optional!!!!

You may bring your own guns/ammo if you like. The handgun should be Semi-auto, calipered in .9mm, .357 Sig, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, or ,45 GAP. You will need the gun, 2 magazines, and 50 rounds "target" ammo. Shotguns must be Military/Law Enforcement type, .12 ga pump (NO Semi-auto, Full-auto, or "Hunting" type shotguns). Ammo MUST be 2 3/4 inch, 9 pellet 00 Buck (NOT 3 inch or 3 1/2 inch, and NOT "9" shot bird shot)

Additionally, if you would like to get your Texas Concealed Handgun License, we offer you an opportunity to obtain the Texas CHL Certificate of Training for only $50.00! As a large portion of the CHL training curriculum is covered in the Level 3 Training Course, we allow you to attend a special 4 hr training session in addition to the 40 hrs of the Level 3 Course. This training session covers the laws that are specific to the CHL. This "Special CHL Training" is ONLY available as an addition to the Level 3 training course.

• Monday-Thursday Level 3 Class 8am-6pm, as part of the "FastTrac" Course.

PSB Level 4-Personal Protection Officer (PPO/Bodyguard) Training Certification

This training course is specifically designed to educate the students in the basic fundamentals of providing protection to Clients while working as a Personal Protection Officer(aka: Bodyguard). The Basic PSB Curriculum consists of 15 hours of training in Non-Lethal and Lethal Defensive Tactics, Self Defense Aerosol Spray (OC/Pepper Spray), and Consideration of Planning a Protective Detail.

Additionally, The Freedom Group has added a "mock" PPO detail to the training course to help the students better understand and prepare themselves for the work of a Personal Protection Officer. During this "Mock" detail, the students plan and execute the detail using TFG Staff as VIP's. The detail includes pre-planning, motorcade procedures, escorting the Client(s) to and through various venues, and more.

The cost of this course is $150.00.

• Level 4 "Only" Course are periodically scheduled throughout the month, please see our training calendar for specific dates. Please note that the length of the Level 4 "Only" Course is increased to 24 hrs with the addition of the "Mock" PPO Detail.
